MufukaWorks Dance Company performed an original dance work, Unity, inspired by Kwanzaa's principle "Umoja" (meaning unity) and dance class workshop of Afro Russe dance at the Harvey B Gantt Center.

On a weekday, MufukaWorks received a call from LA to come be a part of their reality filming for the show, America's Got Talent. We accepted and got to spend the whole day filming and got a VIP status to audition. Since 2010, I have to say it was one of the most exciting filming time ever. First and foremost, thank you for taking an hour of your day for YOU! We were so excited to see you to come to our first MufukaWorks Dance Experience-Afro Latin Class. Our next class is AFRO RUSSE JULY 29 with NEW TIME! 1:00pm-2:00pm. Afro Russe will be led by Elsie Mufuka and it is a fusion of Zimbabwean African Dance and other styles. Think of cultural dance moving your body. This will also have a surprise Zimbabwean dish!
